For those with a load of foamboard and cereal boxes I've a number of .pdf templates for buildings, terrain and ruins linked at the bottom of this page on my blog

I've see your work over on TerrainGenesis (if I remember correctly?).

Great stuff!

Thanks Kierdale, yes Terragenesis started me off with the terrain aspects then I decided getting my own blog would be a bit better for me, now I'm not even sure how to go about showing my work there anymore, they seem to have some new guidelines about how to make neat and tidy posts, I think. I'm too much of a free spirit for that ;)

Anyway another blast from the past while I finish up the set of print and play terrain - Warhammer hedges, walls and fences as described in White Dwarf magazine, thems were the days and you could get a bag of crisps for 5p!

And the next FREE Print and Play building template is available, it's the same building but 3 storeys instead of 2. I'm also finishing off the wide building which should be available soon

And the next FREE Print and Play building template is available, it's the same style 2 storey building but wider. This way you can make a larger square building, once again they're designed to fit on A4 paper. The easy way to make them is print them out onto an A4 Sticky label, attach to foamboard, cut out and glue together. You can choose whether to keep or remove the windows or indeed hack at it to make your own ruins instead of [shock horror] an actual free standing undamaged building in the 40k universe!

The added bonus is you can alternatively use the first building template and make a rectangular building

Thanks dwez, I'm just built the little ruins and writing an article about it, with a link to your page, of course :)

Buildings using your plans are ver very easy to make, you can have a several buidings in only 1 day, 2 if you have to use white glue.

And the next FREE Print and Play building template is available, it's the same style 2 storey building but it has a different colour scheme, because I'm all about diversity. The easy way to make them is print them out onto an A4 Sticky label, attach to foamboard, cut out and glue together. You can choose whether to keep or remove the windows or indeed hack at it to make your own ruins instead of [shock horror] an actual free standing undamaged building in the 40k universe!

And you can still go here for all my terrain templates: http://40kaddict.blogspot.co.uk/2011/02/terrain-is-everything-standard-template.html Print & Play or the mixed media foam and cardboard templates you can paint yourself.

Hope this is of use, please feel free to share the links with your firends, loved ones or even your arch-nemesis. Please don't offer it to Tyranid players, we will cry, I'm not going to blame the Codex but yes it's the Codex's fault. In fact I firmly believe the fact half Britain is being thrashed by a 'superstorm' is thanks to the Tyranid Codex!

It's my Birthday and traditionally I give away freebie on my blog. This year is no different and I've the tall version of the black tower to share with you. So make use of it to make your terrain that much more diverse:

Finally got round to completing the last of the black building templates, the great thing about this one is you can combine it with the first building to get a wide square building or a narrow rectangular one [good lord I actually forgot the word 'rectangle' then, it took me two minutes to dig it out of my brain, how does something like that happen? Maybe my Dad's Alzheimers legacy is kicking in! still moving on...]

It's that time again, a FREE building template to print out and attach to foamboard for some simple LoS blocking terrain. It's basically a box that's already coloured with a different building template. Nothing fancy, just enough to get you going if you're starting out in the hobby or on a budget.

I'm not sure if anyone actually is using these but I keep churning them out in the off-chance they're of use. This is the tall version of the green marble tower which should bring the 4 building choicse [if you include the wide 2 storey with standard 2 storey rectangular configuration] to your tabletop. In total that's 12 templates.

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-8MK37TvUGsw/U-tSB5mrc0I/AAAAAAAAUPA/GDIstTsBEoc/s1600/40k-print-and-play-ISO3-01.jpg

I've another couple of skins started but not worked up but I think it's may be more useful to look at some different shaped buildings for a little more variety on the battlefield than just the colour of them.

Anyway, the link is here:

http://40kaddict.blogspot.co.uk/2014/10/terrain-is-everything-hail-omnissiah.html

And you can get the rest of my templates in the STC tab.

With the festive season coming to a close Father Christmas found one forgotten present in his sack - a new set of Print & Play tower block templates that will match the very first skins I produced. There are at least 15 buildings that can be created from my current selection and that’s not including the additional 14 templates of more detailed, complex untextured buildings.

So if you would like the new templates this holiday season they’re available here:
http://40kaddict.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/terrain-is-everything-hail-omnissiah.html

And all the legacy templates are available here
http://40kaddict.blogspot.co.uk/2011/02/terrain-is-everything-standard-template.html

Should you also feel inclined are also a variety of free downloads including wound, objective, psychic power markers and not to mention a free terrain mat template should one have access to a large scale printer and you like Red Planet battlefields.
http://40kaddict.blogspot.co.uk/p/free-downloads.html

Anyway, hope it’s of use. All the best for the new year

12 months since my last template but it's finally here, my interpretation of the original Epic Space Marine Generatorium, not quite as awesome but still pretty cool I think. So, feel free to print out the template stick it to card and make your own simple LoS blocking terrain. And, as mentioned in the blog I'll be running a photo competition later in the year to win an Imperial Knight [or equivalent] when my next Google AdSense funds mature. So that's a free terrain template AND an opportunity to win stuff

If you'd like the new template it's available here, with more tips and details into making cooler:

And all the legacy templates are available here

Following on from giving away FREE terrain templates I decided to hold a competition to win an Imperial Knight, as you do. I set it up so that folk could enter a picture created using my free terrain templates or downloads. I ended up  with 11 entries and the voting is currently ongoing for this month. If anyone's interested in what folk did with the templates and perhaps vote for your favourite the entries are here: http://www.40kaddict.uk/2016/04/google-adsense-competition-2016.html

Feel free to have a go yourself, this competition may now be closed for entries but I may well do another one and I'd have no problem accepting entries in the future that have been done between now and then

Hi Dwez,

Feel free to use the pics of my-your buildig: http://fenrisianstudios.blogspot.com.es/2014/01/first-2014-project-finished-ruined.html#more for future competitions. :smile.:

Hey Javier, I will do. I actually shared it as an an example of what could be done but wasn't sure about entering it on your behalf but I will next time :)

Ok this is probably a very simple answer, but what size paper do I need to print out your templates?

A4 mostly, I think there may only be one that's bigger [i forget which] but I think I reference the size somewhere. Otherwise it's A4 as I tried to ensure it was in a size most folk would be able to print to. Of course other countries have different paper sizes so perhaps my thinking was potentially flawed, oops. Good luck with them if you gove it a go.
