Awesome to see some BFG on these boards!  Whatever you think of the game, those were some awesome models back in the day.

I'm in love with the Dark Apostle, too.  Can't wait to see more!

Hello!

Yep, indeed BFG is a game all to rarely seen! I would love to have a few more models for my Imperial fleet, but sadly, this is it! All that I have. However, I do have a few unpainted models left, that I am rapidly working my way through...

Here is an Iconoclast-class destroyer:

Enjoy!

Hail!

Finally - I managed to get a serious piece of terrain done! Finished! The end result I find quite, quite lovely - so, behold and shiver with fear and be intimidated! Pray to your false gods for mercy and deliverance. For the SMITER OF HIS FOES will not be merciful! ;-)

That being said, this model was an absolute and utter bitch to put together; the parts do not really fit, the glue (neither super nor plastic) would stick; in the end I had to use a (probably carcinogenic) mix of liquid green stuff, superglue and foul language to hammer the bloody thing into a semblence of obedience.

Enjoy!

Master Ciaphas

Hail!

Cheers! I am glad that you like it. It was lovely to paint the thing! Also, I have recently finished these last two, from the old, olde "Battle for Macragge" starter box. Lovely.

Hello!

More work has been done over the holidays - and a Happy New Year to all! This time around, I have finally managed to finish my Skyshield Landing Platform, which has been lying around for years and years! The sharp-eyed reader will notice that part of the bulwark is missing in one end. This is entirely deliberate, as I have a cunning plan of integrating the Skyshield with a bastion that I have lying around. Why this, you ask? Well - because I think it is more than a bit odd, that the only access points are through ladders in the floor. Would an Imperial dignitary EVER subject himself (m/f) to crawling through such thing, in the grime and dust of landing?! Never, say I. Therefore, a bastion with a proper gateway is needed!

Behold, the Skyshield KM 272!

Well - cheers, Dosjetka. I suppose a decent job is better than a sloppy one ;-) Next up I think might be the limited edition Void Shield Generator, that I managed to get my grubby hands on two years ago.

Else, I am also working on a Flying Hive Tyrant, two Space Marine Librarians and a bucketload of Ravenwing Black Knights...time will tell what ultimately catches my fancy...

Hail!

Well - I have managed to paint a bit more - and it is lovely! My DKoK kampfgruppe is slowly coming together, and with the addition of this Vanquisher, I am ever so slightly coming closer to completion!

I have also managed to finish the first of my Ravenwing Black Knights. I will be playing in a campaign tournament this summer, with 1200 points of fluffy-fluffiness, and I am well excited about the prospect! There is a number of houserules, like for example that re-rolls of 2+ cover (or 3+ cover) turns into a 4+ on the re-roll, making "immortal" units like jinking Ravenwing with Darkshroud support slightly less powerful. All fine by me!

Here cometh the Ravenwing:

Impressive models you have there. The variation of models/factions is refreshing. I'm out of likes for today, so I'll have to come back tomorrow.

I had some flashbacks to a week of cursing when I saw your Plasma Obliterator. Putting that monster together was a complete nightmare!

Thanks for the comments!! It is much appreciated!

And, oh, indeed! That PLASMA OBLITERATOR was horrible, horrible, horrible to assemble! I have rarely been SO close to throwing a model across the living room in a flash of incandescent rage. I swear: never, ever again.

The model, though, is beautiful.

But a horrible experience to put together!

As for the variation in models, yeap, I have indeed far too many different ones...at least according my GF :-)

Hail!

Another update in rapid succession! How the train is rolling!

Anyhow - here are the last 4 Ravenwing Black Knights, giving me an almost full squadron with 5 Knights (incl. the very friendly non-cheesy Ravenwing Grenade Launcher! Crikey it is so not worth it, but for the sake of variety I have included it)

Further, I was one of the lucky ones, who managed to get my grubby hands on the Imperial Space Marine. I brought him along for a weekend of games, where he managed to kill absolutely nothing, besides himself on an overheat. So much for rapid firing S5 AP2 Instant Death weapons... :-D

Hello JJD

The plasma coils are easy. Lots of drybrush. I start with a basecoat of Necron Abyss (very dark blue), then a drybrush of Mordian Blue, then a drybrush with Baharroth or Ice Blue, and finally a very, very light drybrush with Skull White.

Best

And lo and behold! I have actually managed to finish a Deathwing Terminator. The first in....perhaps a decade or so. Crikey I despair over having to paint that bone white armour...even if I am rather pleased with the result.

I still have a full Deathwing command squad to do (made from the Grey Knights set, before there was a DW box with command bits) and four terminators from the Dark Vengeance Squad Barachiel set.

With further ado, here is the Dark Vengeance Terminator - the first of this decade!

Hail frateris!

Work (on miniatures) has been slow - an coupled with a new job, getting time in has been hard. However, I have managed to finish off the last two Command Squad marines - these being the Standard Bearer and an Apothecary. Both are with gravguns, so I can now field a cheesy gravgun tooting Command Squad with Apothecary and the nice Dark Angel banner making them relentless. Coupled with a Divination Librarian, things ought to die, when they come down in a Drop Pod!

Enjoy!

Hail!

And yet more has been completed! I guess this fellow has been on the shelf for the past 8 or 9 years or so, lamenting his fate as an unfinished Dark Angel, seemingly doomed to remain so for the rest of eternity! But it was not to be so! I have FINALLY finished him!

Praise be!
