Plan is the mortis will cover the air, Kargos and his Cataphractii escort ram into enemy lines/forts, apothecary and tac squad 1 charge an lock stuff down other squad supports while the jetbikes fly to where the the large blobs are and thin them out from a safe distance... So instead of them - 5x heavy support legionnaires, sergeant woth bolt pistol/chainsword, - 255 points. Much cheaper and much more stable. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
infyrana Posted January 26, 2014 Share Posted January 26, 2014 Yep, slightly expensive those bikes, look great in WE colours I admit.  Heavy support, Volkites, AutoCannons or Missile Launchers?  My only concern would be the distinct lack of armour saturation making your single contemptor and ram very vulnerable to a quick death. Wondering if there might perhaps be a better option for those points, but without any 30k experience, I will leave that thought with someone in the know :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Contemptor can deal with anything flakk missiles could as well. I just don't see any cheaper alternatives for dealing with heavy tanks etc  EDIT: just By the way, Contemptor mortis means it has skyfire and interceptor.
