Contests are cool, but it is a pretty niche thing.  There are only a few folk that do this, and even so, it takes quite a bit of time to do this.  And this ain't a vehicle.......?

Painted will take a while... I tend to procrastinate on it majorly until I actually *have* to paint it.  I don't really like painting and will only do so to complete the project or when there is a painting bug...XD

Damn, that is one sexy Land Raider.  The Garden of Morr pieces fit the Sisters' aesthetic in a way I hadn't really thought about before.  The front door and stairs...wow.  That is the very definition of 40k's Gothic/tech mash-up.  I like the exhaust-censers, as well, great use of the Deathwing Knights' maces.

 

Can't wait to see what you come up with, next.

Gotta say that is incredible work. Looking forward to seeing the finished product. Emailing a picture of that to a buddy of mine. He'll flip. He plays Sisters & he's tread head. You're gonna overdose him with that thing. LOL!!!

Thanks, but I can't claim credit for all of the design ideas.  Some of it, like the arrowed steps were my buddy's idea.  I just put it together...:P

@Olis - Now now... there are many heresies... one of them is even giving Sisters a LR...;)  My buddy is running a chaos sisters army.

Due to the nature of the build, there are some design compromises though.  The guns cannot swivel all the way to the back, similar to the hurricane bolters (my buddy doesn't care) and the HBs can elevate upwards.  The cupola mounting is somewhat blocked by the tall sides and the high front, so pintle mounted weapons don't work so well.  A havoc launcher can still fire 'over' so it's still good.
