Or move six, flame and snapshot assault, then potms.flame the other cannon. It is not really a big issue as generally the.bulk of a raider prevents you from firing both side sponsoons at the same target. (Whether it is hurricane bolters or flamestorms)PotMS allows you to shot to another target with your BS,but this doesn't override SnapShot ability. And when I use LRs, I try to RUSH in the fight! (T1: 12"+snapshot. T2: TANK ATTACK (trying to wipe one squad with one LR using a second LR to block them). T3: 6"+assault) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Andhil Posted April 15, 2014 Share Posted April 15, 2014 It does override Snap Shot. for the Redeemer, it'd let you fire both Flamestorms, and snap-fire the Assault Cannons. Even after moving 12". ..., the Vehicle can fire one more weapon at it's full Ballistics Skill than normally permitted. So, simple maths: We move 12", we're allowed to fire 0 (zero) weapons at full BS. With POTMS, we add 1 weapon to fire at BS. Making the amount of weapons fired at BS: 1! greggles Posted April 15, 2014 Share Posted April 15, 2014 Yup! Two flamestorms at 6 inch move + snapshot Assault, or 1 flamestorm at 12 with snapshot assault. It's pretty effective, and highly recommend it as a platform. Just realize you must present multiple other threats. Just running a single redeemer as your main av will see it quickly destroyed. But run a hunter, scarian, redeemer (transport for termies), vindicator, some storm talons, land speeders, razorbacks...etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And I'm back, I've read few things about the ETL3, and I saw how awesome is the list of the BT Participant. That's giving me the motivation to start my Vows. And as first Vows for the ETL, I'll start with the biggest Taunt we can do against Dark Angels! I'll check if conversions are authorized or not, and if they are I'll post picture of it just after lunch. Tips: "There was once a starship, the Black Templars, the Dark Angels, and someone else. It was hard to wait ETL to paint some Templars, so I played as Imperial Guards for few weeks. I'm testing their value, and if they worth to be included in my Crusade, for the moment I only lost two time (twice 6 - 0 for my opponent) but I love the ammount of Blast I can bring with Mortars and Wyverns. I'll probably switch for some Kriegers, but I need some Heavy Mortars and Eartshaker Carriage for that. I got a lot of points ready to be vowed for the ETL after my Cypher! Like an Imperial Knight, 40 Termis, 8 Dreadnoughts, one Aquilla Strongpoint, more than 1'000pts of Wall of the Martyrs, 1'500pts of Bikers, and much more. But first, let's finish the Taunt with Cypher, I made the base coat and leadbel leached the metal parts and now I'm thinking how to continue the painting. I want to use the Pre-Heresy Dark Angels Color scheme, which sounds logic as he's one of the traitors from luther's rebelion if I'm right. (Which actually came to my mind, is Cypher 10k years old? O_O) I'm still searching a way to make the Robe Color less white and easier to paint (damn this ceramit white and this white scar. I'll probably use Pallid Wych Flesh as base on top of my abaddon black) If anyone have some suggestions for the paint to use (the new selection of color from citadel) and also pictures, all are welcome. I got a problem for my next Vow, if I make my Imperial Knight, I need to glue it, and I don't have enought Glue and cannot buy one new at the moment XD (probably not before next week) So I need to choose what will be my 2nd vow instead of the Knight. Marshal_Roujakis Posted May 5, 2014 Share Posted May 5, 2014 With the Ceramite White problem, a way to use the paint is to wash your brush every 5 seconds... and wash it very very very thoroughly each time... it chalks up badly but try to paint @ 18 degrees Celsius... this is optimum Citadel Paint usage temperature, too hot or dry and the paint hardens too fast... mix in a lot of water with the paint too... that should help out... oh... and nice Cypher... way to kick the 'skirts' in the shin ;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Then I prefer make many layer of White Scar instead of the ceramite. For my Cypher I made: 1) White Scar 2) Pallid Wych Flesh 3) Kislev Flesh 4) Pallid Wych Flesh 5) Nurn Oil And the result is cool, but hard to show on pictures. -- I'm looking for a way to field a BaneBlade style super-heavy in my Templars army. (ShadowSword if possible) Does anyone know how I can join that kind of unit to a Black Templars army without allies? Multilple layers of White Scar works... but they tend to hide the details underneath multiple layers of paints... You motived me to convert my ShadowSword chassis into a FellGlaive one. I found some lasercannon in my IG Heavy Weapons unused part pile, and for the cannon you'll see it soon (also recycled part and when I saw that on my reserve my eyes shined) I'll post my second vow in few hours, now time to eat.
