@the_chaplain...many thanks for your kind words. .as regards the imperial fists, im waitingto get my grubby mitts on the 3rd heresy book to see what yellow variations I can do for them..thanks again for replying!

@daemonclaw..cheers mate, they so far are sticking within my 3 hour time limit per marine, so I now feel comfortable to continue with them..im confident that by your b.day I might even have 2 units and a h.q to game against you haha

First marine 95% finished, just needs base and blood splatter which I will do the unit in one go.

Thanks for looking and any replies.

if your impy fists looked like chimpy boy you would win all your games as your opponents would die laughing .hey a win by default sweat.gif

also guy in the centre looks smaller than his brothers ,is it just positioning of the bases or is he smaller?

kudos for making this guy also match up ,looking forward to seeing a whole squad complete with bolters

@DSS7...thanks for your kind words and glad you liked the imperial fist haha

@ daemonclaw..thanks for looking mate, bolters and bases will be done as soon as I finish each ten man squad..so only a few months haha.

@leman russ sw..thanks for your kind words and cheers for replying, sorry for the late reply as regards your question...I use the sponging method for fading the transfers..use your base colour, then apply different pressure to the decals to produce more or less weathering to them.

Another one bites the dust..4 out of 20 so far..WOOT! Haha.

.thanks again for looking, and a special treat added to keep you fixed on this thread!

@Knight of the Raven..thank you for your reply and happy at your comments..cheers.

Now with some pomp and ceremony, I have finished the first 5 marines..the bolters have not come out well in the pics but they have been dusted quite heavily with dark steel powder to give a nice subtle metallic effect.

Hope you like and thanks for looking

ETL with the August 15 deadline? I will most likely take part. I just got done painting the first batch of my FW WEs. I plan on placing a second order from FW in late May/early June. That should give me plenty of resin and time to model and paint.

My WEs are a bit rougher than yours (for I am still a novice painter). Check them out - follow the link in my signature!

You just got yourself another follower. :D

Aw man these WE look great. Just discovered this thread and i'm very impressed.

thats a nice looking world eater,

funny how these well painted threads die a death unless you constantly update meanwhile the poorly painted ones get the constant "awesome " comments

So true. Im so glad you kept at it after you thought the thread died.

The blood splatter is tamiya clear red, right? Could you give some tips as to how to achieve the effect?

Keep it up buddy!
