The Nork Deddog mini reminds me of the Penguin from Arkham City. Except obviously a lot taller.

Oh my, it is clear that my pleasure sensors in my brain have just overloaded. Hold on, let me just clean up my mess.

Those are awesome! Especially the tank tread chest pieces. Oooo and the lovely hydra. Ooooohhh and the sexy Horus.

My wallet is going to combust from the rapid speed at which I remove the pitents of cash to throw at gw this month.

I just noticed something. Were the FW versions of the Hydra turret open topped?

No.

Edit: Not sure how sold I am on the Ogyrns, though they are a definite improvement over the old ones. Honestly though I was hoping for more pictures of the Scions and especially their alternate variant.

Rumours holding up well, so the remaining 5th kit must be the big transport then?

Ogryns look quite good, but I'm withholding final judgement until I see a bit more. Hydra looks nice though I'm not sure if I'm sold on the open top yet. Looks like it might be a good basis for conversions too perhaps, I'm thinking of my missing Griffon kit...

Also, LOVE the Hydra. Open-topped is straight from the pages of WWII AA turrets.

I guess I'm alone in thinking they just look... okay? The ogryns look a little baby-faced to me and I've always preferred them more as slabs of meat and rage. Still, I don't want to take away from anyone's enthusiasm as plastic ogryns are long overdue.

I too prefer the look of the old ones (I'm not talking about the current ones, I mean the old ones), the armour and shields on these makes them better gamewise though. That did need fixing.

Ugh. From what I can see, the Ogryns are a let-down, but I guess only time, another paintjob and having them in hand will tell if they really are thay bad.

Love the Hydra, about time the IG got a plastic one.

I really hope that the Ogryns are finally good. Those shields and wrist launcher thingies look cool.

I wonder what Nork's stats will look like... Probably also will have something like tyrant guard in auto pass LOS for whoever he is guarding and some form of auto heroic intervention I'd imagine.

Big old "meh" from me.  Curious as to how difficult making the Hydra turret closed will be, trying to shoot down supersonic craft without machine support just seems sillier than 40k normally is.

I concur. They look like bruisers, ready to go ten rounds for money, beer or even a laugh. At least they FINALLY don't look like out-of-place Fantasy Ogres (my one true gripe with older styles of the Ogryns, Nork excepted).

Ogryns and ratlings have always been a BS part of the setting. They should've been some kind of gene bred auxilia meant to tackle heavier xenoforms during the Dark Age of Technology or military versions of the gene bred workers from Blood Games and the Imperium can only ever field a few million of them because of the process.

But this is the GW design studio. Instead of a moderately plausible scientific explanation, we get cartoon characters with stupid looking guns.

Well done, GW
