I love the toned down and muted metal finishes. Using brighter green as a spot color is both unconventional and highly effective. Same with the purity seal wax.  You're almost daring conventional wisdom from the online-color-palette-picker crowd (of which I am a part).  It's like you're saying "yeah, I know about contrast and pop and complementary colors. Inquisitor Eisenhorn Posted March 21, 2014 Author Share Posted March 21, 2014 @Aquilanus  I was never a big fan of scout squads until I actually bought one.  They are nice looking models; you just need to look past the GW stock examples.  @Kiloflx  I do a black-Knarlock Green-Catachan green basing sequence.  I then do a double wash: Agrax and then Athonian Camoshade.  Highlights are Deathworld Green followed by (very rarely) Camo green. Â Everything is so prefect, except for the bases, I personally would add some jungle plants to really make the perfect image. Â I would gladly have my traitors be slaughter by these marine.
