Good work lion, and that's quite a tome you've written! I'll have to read it tomorrow though when my eyes are less bleary tongue.png

The table is looking quite healthy with updates, well done everyone! For those who have yet to make your mark there is still time before the WIP deadline! Don't make me roll for Get Back in the Fight! laugh.png

I was desperate to get a photo - so please excuse this sorry state of a solider:

As you can imagine - it's the closest I have to an undercoated model, and naturally I've not painted it myself - hopefully you'll excuse the slight job of the previous owner, but I assume you - it'll all be redone for the end of this!

Here's Darien.  Member of platoon command for 5th platoon of the PDF on Constantin's Rest.  I wanted to undercoat him for his debut picture, but temperature floating around 9 million degrees here is not ideal for spray painting.

Both WIPs registered, good job in beating the cut off! Also good to see a couple more Catachans :)

For the remaining 10 you only have hours left - the WIP picture doesn't even have to be a good one, you just need to get it posted!

Too right, you can't go wrong with more Guardsmen biggrin.png

Speaking of which, no more WIP shots yet but there's still time for 11th hour dashes across the line! In the meantime I'll fetch my Bolt Pistol, I've got a feeling I'll be needing it soon...

The WIP submission deadline has now passed. The following were found wanting in His eyes: leinmann, MasterBuilder, Uprising, GuardsmanLowe, Warhawk Shizu, Daemonifugue, Firebrethen, Battle-Brother Ludovic and TJWyrm.

Weep for them for their faith was insufficient. Rejoice for yourselves as my faith is bottomless! Forward to victory!

Tarn Fethrot was once an able bodied magos who studied extensively in forbidden knowledge. He and his assistant Reikerd were tutored initially on the Forgeworld Dead Lobe, but fell to the ways of the Hereteks and eventually the Dark Mechanicus. The Arch Magos Chaapoza allowed them to study on his Dark Forgeworld, provided they help maintain the armed forces of his domain. Largely specialising in cybernetics, they aided the Iron Warriors of Warsmith Helslash and the mortals of Kryten's Nihilists. But Fethrot also had grander plans - he had begun experimenting in grafting weapons to flesh, and had an unholy thirst with trying to contain the Obliterator virus. But fate had a much simpler scheme in mind for him and his unlucky assistant. Believing he had harnessed it, Fethrot and Reikerd were in fact both infected by the Daemon-machine virus. Having slowly degraded in sanity, they now infect captured slaves at the orders of Chaapoza and Helslash, who both take great delight in spreading the insanity as weapons morph from their twisted, corrupted bodies.

Sorry gents, my apologies didn't realise the time was in 24hr format, thought i had more time between shifts too. once realised got the WIP pic done and short bio on the damned themselves.

i still need to attach the arms and gubbins, but i certainly won't be missing the next deadline. this will be the start of a new HWT.

The first law of dealing with commisars is: "Do not point out grammar mistakes made by the Commisar. The Commisar's grammar is never incorrect. This offence is punishable by death, the method to be decided by the Commisar. See Art2765/4"

Sadly he deadline has passed, we can't turn back time or undo a Bolt Pistol round. Your only hope is to make amends in the ETL!

Uprising I suggest to give them a call to chase it up (don't email), I'm sure they will be even more helpful than usual once you explain that their tarrying has made you fail in your duty to the B&C. They should apologise for causing you shame and dishonour!

Ammonius is correct, a mistake was made. However the penalty for pointing out a Commissar's mistake is death...

On the bright side expending 9 bolts was just shy of a full magazine, but now I get to make it a nice round 10! laugh.pngmsn-wink.gif

Well done both, the table has been updated! biggrin.png

There is only a week of the challenge left, so those who have yet to post their finished model you have plenty of time to finish. For those that have but are yet to enter both of the background pieces you need only meet the minimum word count to earn those promotions - we're not looking for Shakespeare msn-wink.gif

Yes, no Shakespeare required though I have to say it's "wherefore art thou" and that "wherefore" actually means "why" as Juliet is... and I'm going to stop there before we get sidetracked. No more talk of Shakespeare unless he's running an Ork through with his Lasgun's bayonet.

All Him on Terra really wants is your models painted to honour His eternal glory. Is that so much to ask? PAINT, YOU DOGS!

Dogs... Dogs of war... heh.
