Olis Posted April 15, 2014 Share Posted April 15, 2014 I suppose It depends on which particular bit you camp in but there is the Gothic, Scarus, Calixis Sectors there amongst others. Ulthwé is there somewhere, iirc. My idea was to plonk yourself in the far, far north near the Halo Stars, away from the EoT and most other stuff to give yourself breathing room. Conviction Posted April 15, 2014 Share Posted April 15, 2014 I definitely suggest making up a DIY sub-sector so you can give it flavor to match your DIY homebrew chapter. TDF Posted April 15, 2014 Share Posted April 15, 2014 Nids could show up in Obscurus, but only as an isolated tendril of Leviathan as the clock strikes midnight in 999.M41. Otherwise you're looking at somewhere in the galactic east / north-east / south-east (so Ultima Segmentum), although a fair bit of Leviathan popped up in Segmentum Tempestus, so that's an alternative. Ulthwé and several smaller Craftworlds are around the EoT, but the other 'famous' Craftworlds are all over the Imperium (my map shows Alaitoc and Iyanden in Ultima, Biel-tan in Tempestus and Saim-hann in Pacificus). If you want Tyranids to be key, I'd suggest Ultima (Behemoth and Kraken + splinters) but you could be anywhere in Tempestus too (with Leviathan splinters attacking from beneath the galactic plain).
