Spagunk Posted April 20, 2014 Share Posted April 20, 2014 Because my painting backlog is really weighing heavily on me, I decide to paint my furioso this past week. Front Sides Back Alternate arms Hats off to you! Anyway, the front plate and claws are magnetized so I can swap them out. I have not yet finished the Librarian front panel but it can be swapped once I get done with it and the force weapon/arm. It's funny but I've noticed a number of problems only when I took these pictures so if you see something weird/not done it's probably because I missed it when I painted the thing. Since I already put on my matte finish I guess I'm stuck with it. These were painting using almost completely with GW paints which I found really nice to work with for a change. The model didn't turn out as grimey looking as I like but it does make a really nice red. During the same paint session, I also decided to paint a librarian and a spare Vanguard Vet but they aren't done yet so no pictures yet. Thanks for looking. Put the whole model in the freezer for a couple of hours. Makes the bond brittle. Tapping works better than pulling. 2. Use a chemical like acetone or nail polish remover. This will instantly dissolve the glue. It will also dissolve paint and dry your skin, so apply carefully with a dropper bottle. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
