Scythes of the emperor.... Update 13/11/18

Recommended Posts

Is that supposed to be the librarian that you mentioned as far as matching that picture?  While I really like the one you've posted, I think that the illustration's pose is much more menacing in its dynamic.  Either way, your stuff is brilliant.

Thanks a lot gents. I think I will make a guy just like the art I posted but I fell in love with the model I created so I I've stuck with him, you know what it's like when you love a model and pose lol and sorey no updates. Hopefully Saturday night or Sunday evening an update will be at hand

I decided to make him into another one and keep my original Cassius as is and just re base him onto a 32mm base (who I've added a pic to the update to show him)

So with out further a due here is

Chaplain Marius Alastar, one of the last true blooded sothans.

Second to High Chaplain PTOLEMAEUS

Marius - derived from Mars in Rome from the God of war

Alastar- meaning "defender of mankind"

"For the ghosts of sotha"

That is one of the most badass chaplains I've ever seen. As a great proponent of the use of Night Lords helmets, I say: "Great work!"

One small thing though: the Crozius' eagle tip is fairly off angle compared to the haft. You might wanna fix that before priming and paint.

attached the helm (not glued) to see how it looks painted up on the body.

All the black and yellow parts all based

Next step is do all the black armour and metal parts then look at the model once the black is done and look at OSL the eyes in terms of where I'll place it and how much
