But seriously if you paint all your marines as well as this you will have a fantastic looking army. I know how hard yellow is to achieve and you have done more than pull it off. Bravo. aries24 Posted April 27, 2014 Author Share Posted April 27, 2014 so the yellow is basecoat black, then i airbrush on model air mud brown all over. then i cut the model at a 45 degree angle with MA ochre, then again with MA gold yellow and then finally directly over the top using MA medium yellow. i wash the model with MIG rust effects. then the highlighting begins with games workshop yriel yellow slowly adding more and more ushabti bone until im highlighting with ushabti bone straight up. and finally, if you like that kind of tone of yellow, then its extremely important to get browns in there as this is what actually makes the yellow pop and give that very aesthetically pleasing look hope that helps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
