I have only just gotten my DWK from a friend.  However, I will not falter. I have only a small vow so I WILL finish.  Though I may not shine as bright as my brothers, do not count me out!  Great work guys, keep it up!

Now I know I've not yet completed my 1st vow (home stretch, honest), but I still intend on honouring bu Blood Oath.....

 

I've 30 Terminators primed and ready to go, just need to find a few more models to round out true vow.

Yay the DA's keep pushing on! Nice completions appearing now^



Although RL has been draining, just didn't feel right without doing a vehicle (to make that Ironwing just a little bigger), so...


I Cod_lover [Cod] answer the call of E TENEBRAE LUX and vow to complete:


1 x Predator (counts as Deimos) with conversion beamer, lascannon sponsons, dozer blade and hunter-killer missile, plus the Legacy of Glory: Schism of Mars, for a total of 220pts, from Imperial Armour Vol. 2, 2nd edition on or before August 1st.


Success will bring eternal glory to the Dark Angels and the Lion and failure will doom me

to bear the Badge of Shame until the year-end.






After seeing some space crusade figures appear in this thread I thought hey, I have a conversion beamer from a space crusade dreadnought somewhere! I thought the size was about right wink.png I will do my best to get this done.

Well only the DAs have special colours for their DW/RW... The rest of the Unforgiven Chapters just use the Chapter colours. In this case a combination of green and black...

Keep pushing guys.  We're counting DAYS at this point.  If you are close, FINISH.  If you are on an additional vow, SUCK IT UP AND PAINT.  FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!

 

Painting is fun, and once it's done, you have something much nicer than sprue gray / primer white/black for your overall look.  I'm still painting, even if I'm done with the competition for now.  This Drop Pod is a fun project.  

 

This is an older picture, but this is the state of it's paint job before I started last week (or close enough).

This was right after priming last summer, I wanted to look to see how much I liked the Green against the Bone and I think I'm  going to be happy with this overall.
