That guy looks really cool, only the base needs some love (not in respect to the challenge, I know, but on principle msn-wink.gif ).

You're right, of course. I plan to do his base together with the other finished models of the first vow as soon as they're done smile.png

I made the Soul Vow section of page one but seem to be missing on the regular list of vows.

Can't see a Soul Vow there. Just the normal ETL vow. You'll find what you need to post in large red text in a quote box in a few of my posts ;)

I know I haven't been the most supportive spectator given a lot of recent set backs I've had, but even if I can't participate I still like to rummage around ideas and pretend or try to support. 

Anyway I just decided not to go for a Heldrake model following the nerf hammer falling on them, what else can I use forgefiend autocannons on besides using one as a predator autocannon (I'm aware of the difference between the two)?  I don't like buying/ordering bits and models without finding uses for them, so I have to find something to do with them.

What do you have said fiend cannons from? A mauler? You could rig the mauler with magnets to swap between mauler and forge. Or you could scratch build/convert a Decimator or Contemptor with dual butcher cannons (same stats as the hades cannons)? Maybe take a spare starter box dread, bits order some sentinel legs to give it some height, remove the arms/shoulders, and stick the hades cannons on there.

 

I'd wait for IA:3 with, I assume, updated rules for both of those before starting such a project, but with two different potential models to count the conversion as, you've got a pretty good chance of at least one of them being worth fielding.

@incinerator950.I can understand being unemployed/skint and having to be very choosy about what models you go for so can see where you're coming from there. And don't worry, I won't say the old "something will come up" because that just makes you want to punch people. Hard. In the face ;)

The Soul Vow itself went into the warp, but Semper got me for his list of them on the first page. It looked like he missed my regular vow or that edit was also lost.

That said, I could at least be guaranteed to be able to double an initial vow of nothing without much trouble. :D

I did want to rectify the missing Soul Vow post, though, so here goes:

I offer my soul to the Gods of Chaos right now!

By the time the E Tenebrae Lux challenge ends on August 1st I will double the points I have pledged in my first oath and crush the dogs of the Imperium!
