I'm all fired up to get back to painting this week after seeing this :) I'm busy this weekend but there's plenty of time to finish my Hydras before the deadline, the real question is if I can get a fourth vow in ;)

Today is the last day we're jousting here in schaffhausen and tomorrow we'll all be on our long trip home from Switzerland. Either way,this will mean I won't be home before Tuesday. The weathering is only a quick wash so it'll be finished very soon!

Oh, I don't know... I do not have a set time for it - it depends on my daily schedule....

In order to be safe you have to finish by Wednesday, but early Thursday is also a possibility...

Ah...I think I, for one, will just miss the cutoff...I have minor bits of the engines, plus weapons, landing gear, and cockpit yet to do on my last model...but it'll be a 1.5k boost for our total on the following (last interim?) weekly update.

I raise, mantain and wrangle horses, and I've done quite a lot of shooting (at static mock targets) from a horse (as part of Cowboy Action Shooting Sports) but; I've never used a Lance (or an Explosive Tipped Hunting Lance for that matter), and I've never charged a horse with another horse, which I expect is an entirely different (utterly insane) thing.

Between us though we may raise a Rough Rider yet.

Edit - I suddenly have the urge to paint RRs but FW DKoK are the only place to get them, bummer.

jousting is avidly practiced in the USA, as well.  You can catch a tournament in the major city near you about once a year...which is less ridiculous than it seems.  While there was not jousting in America during the age of jousting...the ancestors of most Americans lived in Europe then!

Advice wise if you're worried about time but want to do more just vow some smaller models (heavy weapons teams, hq etc)

Sweet work on the Wyvern there. I like the screen paintjob, reminds me of the old terminals from Fallout - very suiting! The forest camo is also very excellent, especially in the setting you pictured them in!
