I Captain Sox continue with the E Tenebrae Lux III challenge with vow number 2:

 

Lord Commissar with The Blade of Conquest, Master of Ordnance and Company Command Squad with Vox, Regimental Standard and Autocannon heavy Weapon team. Total Points is 200 even.

You don't need a massive one, depends how fastidious you are about coating large surfaces. I look forward to seeing your progress Helion!

Oh, I know. I just don't have anything big enough for anything mechanised. Likely as not I'll duck into an arts supply store and pick up something cheap there.

@ captain sox: Congratulations on your completion mate! They look excellent and the picture quality is fine (I only wished for a slightly larger format). Completion and new vow registered - Good luck!

Brothers,

This is a sad day as our most iconic Brother Argos has decided to step down.

This has been a difficult decision for him given how much he has put into this community over the years in terms of time and effort and of course money.

Now as our paymaster steps back it's time for the frater that frequent and enjoy this forum to step forward and try to fill in the gap in order to keep the B&C running smoothly.

It has come to my attention that soldiers are flagrantly disregarding their holy Primer and the sacred texts within. May I remind you all that teasing posts without images is forbidden and carries with it a penalty of 40 lashes for the first breach of regulations and death for the second offence. The next infraction I see that promises completion but does not deliver will receive the 40 lashes and an additional penalty of half rations for a month. The next second offence I see will incur quarter rations for two months in addition to death. Such laxity will not be tolerated - all it takes is a moment for all to be undone.

 

Think of our duty and purpose, think of your brothers and sisters in arms, think of the Regiment in all things and you will not go far wrong. The Emperor is eternally watchful, and so is His Commissariat.

I really need to do some Noise marines after the ETL finishes...need a break from disciplined troops...and green.

Keep the pace for June is the difficult month... If you make good progess in June you have a good chance to reach your maximum potential...

You've seen this rabble Captain, the lash is all that keeps them in order :lol: Keep up the good work everyone, June is just another month for us to claim in the Emperor's name! The weather is improving now (finally) so I'm expecting some nice natural daylight to paint by over the weekend :)

Funny thing, I had the same idea for exactly the same reasonsmile.png I'm simultaneously painting Guards, Orcs and Goblins and Blood Bowl Orcs(yes, I like greensmile.png). So yesterday I thought about doing a Thousand Sons army after the ETL.

For now this photo will have to suffice since my laptop broke down. This also means I will be painting the entire weekend on my second vow consisting of:

Stormblade 450 pts

Griffon 75 pts

6 bullgryn w. Slabshields 370 pts

Cyclops demolition squad 30 pts

Sabre platforms: 3x AC, 120 pts.

The total second vow coming in at 1045 pts. Glory to the imperial guard!
