Quick vote - Moritat and Destroyers: Iron Warriors or Sons of Horus?

 

I'd say IWs - don't seem to see many of Perturabo's lot floating about with chem munitions despite how favourable it is for them :D - plus blackened steel ALWAYS looks menacing and cool :)

I'm slowly getting started on my vow. Haven't done much so far, but I have clipped parts off the sprues and assigned them to the different models. And I've ordered the Autocannon set. It should hopefully arrive by the end of this week, but that depends on when they ship it. 

I do need to wash the resin again, maybe with a stronger soap, before I start gluing. 

 

Quick vote - Moritat and Destroyers: Iron Warriors or Sons of Horus?

Iron Warriors. Especially if they're wearing Crusade or Iron armour.

Hey Ramell, at the minute the Moritat is in crusade/iron armour (waiting for the rampager legs to turn up) and the destroyers are in mark 4.

 

2 votes each, still doesn't help when I think I want my Sons of Horus to be the fast/sudden assault army and the Iron Warriors to be mostly infantry with artillery support.

Wish I had the wages of some of you guys... So much resin...

don't do big til birthdays and whatever holidays you may celebrate, can pick up a squad of 5 basic for 30 odd quid. And its not really about having the money either i feel, coz i don't really have free cash, it's about those damn fine, high quality minis forgeworld do. man i love me some mk 2&3!

He needs more blood on his armour...... No, seriously looks really good. I have but one point, his antennas are a little bend, are you going to re-bend it?

And by the way just the right thing to motivate myself to pick up my brush again and resume painting my stuff

Keep it up guys - this is a joy to watch!

As a sidenote you're doing pretty well in terms of participants too, in the sense that you are at par with your strongest rivals... BUT the recruiting period has three weeks to go still. Things can change materially in that time so make sure more recruits flow in... msn-wink.gif
