Through The Warp and Far Away

I based this on Maurice DePas' version of "Over the Hills and Far Away".

Here's two weeks' rations on the drum

For those who volunteer to come

To 'list and fight the foe today

Through the Warp and far away.

Through the Warp, to near and far,

To Tallarn, Lethe and Ultramar,

The Emperor points and we obey,

Through the Warp and far away.

When duty calls me I must go

To stand and purge another foe

But part of me will always stay

Through the Warp and far away.

Through the Warp, to near and far,

To Tallarn, Lethe and Ultramar,

The Emperor points and we obey,

Through the Warp and far away.

If I should fall to rise no more,

As many Guardsmen did before,

Then ask the pipes and drums to play

Through the Warp and far away.

Through the Warp, to near and far,

To Tallarn, Lethe and Ultramar,

The Emperor points and we obey,

Through the Warp and far away.

So fall in, lads, behind the drum,

Plasma blazing like the sun,

Across the void to come what may,

Through the Warp and far away.

Through the Warp, to near and far,

To Tallarn, Lethe and Ultramar,

The Emperor points and we obey,

Through the Warp and far away.
