In recognition of the long history of friendship and rivalry and the 10,000 year old feud with the Primarch of the Vlka Fenryka, the Great Wolf and the alfather of the fenrisian wolves,mighty Leman Russ we the Sons of the Lion, descendants of the first legion challenge all the Vlka Fenryka to the Titanas Belli, the Titans of War! http://fortressofunforgiven.homestead.com/Bellum_Aeternus_02_Titanis_Belli_Poster_V9.jpg THE SONS OF THE LION CHALLENGE THE SONS OF RUSS Who can participate: Anyone can participate on either side (or both if you so wish) but you may only submit models painted in the colours of Space Wolves Chapter or Legion, the official successors or your own DIY successors on the one side and the Dark Angels, the official successor chapters or your own DIY successors on the other side. How to enter the competition: 1. You enter the competition by posting your oaths in this thread in the following manner: I <<insert your name here>> of the << insert your Chapter or Legion>> make an oath of moment to face my brothers from the Unforgiven in an honourable contest of strength and will! For Fenris and the Great Wolf! 2. Post an image of models along with your oath. The models can be in any state of construction up to a single colour undercoat (This is important) 3. When you have completed your oath make another separate post at the end of the thread with the completed images and the following statement: I <<insert your name here>> of the << insert your Chapter or Legion>> have kept faith with my primarch and completed my oath of moment. For Fenris and the Great Wolf! 4. You may now make your second oath of moment in the same manner as described above by making a separate post in the same thread. 5. You may also update your original thread with your completed images and your second oath if you wish but you muxt remember to post separate posts for each of your two oaths and their completions. Chapter or Legion: You may paint your models in chapter colours or legion colours. It's entirely your choice. Duration: Three Months. Number of oaths: No restriction for the number of oaths! There is only one deadline, the 1st of August 2014. Those who complete their first oath can make a second one and so on. You may submit as many models as you wish for each oath. Painting Content: Infantry models fitted with Tactical Dreadnought Armour or Runic Armour can be entered. Characters with TDA / Runic Armour Special Characters in TDA / Runic Armour or Artificer Armour TDA: Any version of this armour is acceptable Runic Armour: Must be clearly modeled. (Standard Power armour is not acceptable as a "counts as") Artificer Armour : Must be clearly modeled. (Standard Power armour is not acceptable as a "counts as")Only acceptable for special characters. Each individual model must be armed and painted to be codex legal You DO NOT need to paint units that are codex legal. (Individual TDA models can be entered) Score: Simple point system as below. Award 2 Point for Characters in TDA / Runic Armour / Artificer Armour. Award 1 Point for Individual Models in TDA or Runic Armour. Award 1 Additional point for every five models (Excluding independent characters) painted as an additional bonus point. Time Line:THUR 1 MAY 2014: Acceptance of oaths FRI 1 August 2014: End date The time line has been matched to the other painting mega event the E Tenebrae Lux III and all participants are strongly encouraged to submit their relevant entries to both events! This trophy in the form of a plaque will be awarded to the winning forum and will be displayed in a special thread within that forum. Just to be clear, this competition is running concurrently with the ETL III, and any entries that meet the criteria (I.e. Models in either Terminator or Runic Armour), count for both events. Many people play Lost Companies, or "counts-as" with their own preferred schemes and styles. End of Line A good number of wolf guard in TDA! But you have to actually make the oath and specify what you are vowing for the contest before I can add them to the wolves totals.
