Gruns ETL III WIP

Wow, that's a good sized force. Good luck with painting all of you our sons of Sanguinius. Hopefully you have 25 heads kicking about somewhere...

Any reason for leaving off the heads? I guess it makes it easier to do the assault squads' helms in yellow?

Bring glory to the IX legion and their kin.

Getting there.

No, no, no. Loyalist marines shouldn't look that good thumbsup.gif

Well, BA is the pretty boy team on the loyalist side. whistlingW.gif

Call that pretty. Though Blood Angels do make good hats ;)

Looking good. Out of interest, what are you going to do with the cut up sprue on the bases? Paint them to look like battlefield debris? Make greenstuff hills etc using them as a skeleton? You're racing through your vow. Do you have any more vows planned?

I will do the same thing I did with my sanguinary guard. Battlefield debris. I like how high and mighty it makes them look. I started doing this to my jump troops ever since I bought the old vanguard box.

I have to admit, I had my reservations about the piles of sprue as they were, but your battlefield debris looks pretty awesome. I especially like the base of the Sang. Guard with the axe. I agree with the "high and mighty" look. I might have to borrow that for my jumpers. Thanks for the inspiration.

One last update for the day. Finally finished the sarge. He lacks his head for now but It's gonna have to wait. I still haven't decided what head I am going to give him.
