From this point forward we shall stand alone as our own ETL faction! It seems the Dark Angels fear our combined power and look to weaken us. But we will only grow stronger from it! Remember the words of Grimaldus, the Heraldic cross that stands proud on your chests where the Astartes of the lesser chapters where the Emperor's Aquilla. WE DO NOT WEAR HIS SYMBOL, WE ARE HIS SYMBOL!!! So what does this mean for us? Well we must work that much harder to ensure victory. Do not let up this great pace we have achieved so far. Go forth, and do not disappoint your Primarch(s). TEMPLARS! We can still do this. Our greatest challenge is to up our pledged points. We outnumber the DA, yet they have already pledged more pts than us, by quite a margin. Now, we must, all of us, continue to keep up our pace. Our Vanguard has been successful. We have completed 4000pts in the first week. 4000! This is something to be proud of. We must maintain this lead, so we are not caught up by the completion of a single mega-vow by members such as Jirt(AoD) or Steve shields (CSM). I will up my own game as well, I have already decided on buying Sternguard and Vanguard, which will be vowed as 2 units of Vanguard (as I need plastic SB's for my Crusader squads), this will be combined with the Talon I have left into my 4th vow. I, for instance, wanted to make a number of small vows. But now I see that I probably should merge my 2 planned vows (which I'm sure I will be able to complete) into one bigger one to leave room for future ones (if the time allows it). There was some doubt whether I wanted to try and paint everything that I listed was possible(a total of 2K remaining points). But now I think that I must try. Terrified Templar Posted May 8, 2014 Share Posted May 8, 2014 You might be able to roll the Black Templars into the Space Marine Codex but try to roll us into the AoD ETL faction and our ZEAL will be too much for the rest to handle. Anyway I got a LRC and some crusaders lying around that seem like a great second vow once I finish up my first one. Also where is our resident Master of Sanctity Brother Honda? They were kicking around ideas like including weapons with their vow (totally awesome idea, wonder where that came from?) and saying "inspiring" stuff. Now they are desperate. Now they are doubling down. It does not matter how much you vow. The only statistic that matters is how much you complete. Other factions are going to learn about this the hard way. Right now we just have to keep doing what we are doing. Complete our vow, but more importantly, continue to recruit new people. The path to victory comes from finishing the most points. The more people with ZEAL you have, the more points you will finish. We have already jumped ahead of the pack. Our goal is to keep doing what we are doing so that if any of those super vows come in, it won't matter. All they will do is spare those factions total humiliation. I am excluding AoD here because they are still our brothers. In fact, we are a "Band of Brothers" united in pushing the Emperor's vision for humanity to the fore. AS BROTHER TRIG HAS STATED, NOW WE HAVE A CHALLENGE WORTHY OF OUR FULLEST EFFORTS. NOW WE KNOW WHAT IT TRULY MEANS TO BE A TEMPLAR. NOW WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO UNLEASH A FULL MEASURE OF OUR ZEAL! IT IS TIME TO UNCHAIN YOUR WRATH. IT IS TIME TO TAKE A STAND AND LET THE GALAXY KNOW THAT WE ARE THE HOLY SERVANTS OF THE EMPEROR AND WE ARE THE MASTERS OF THIS GALAXY. LET OUR BOOTS DRIP WITH THE RESIDUE OF THEIR FAILURE.
