Looking good. Does that guy in the middle, packing a million grenades, have a beast man head? Or is it just me? Ether way, more pictures would be cool, preferably with a few of their friends painted too ;) keep up the good work.

Nice work (though I'd recommend a little more attention to mold-line removal, for example the top of the barrel of the left hand guardsman's weapon).

Why not start an army blog down in the IG forum too? :)

Latest addition to the force, the mandatory demolisher. Any tips on how to add gravel or mud to the tracks and what to use? Obviously wip still.

Any tips on how to paint searchlight that is not turned on? ( I suck at object source lighting...)

For the mud, I'd add some "spalshing" up the sides of the track sections, as it looks like he's been through thick, deep mud, it would create a waterline along the hull. Having some of it falling off the tracks and onto the main chassis would work as well.

Looking good so far, though!

Progress... 52 models ready for washes and then for highlighting...

*note to self* Never ever again work on this many models at once.

Since these are such a large part of my current army I decided to paint the bases ahead of time so that they'll look better on the table.

I usually finish all of the model and base them at the very end but these will take a long time to complete and at their current state they are "ok" for gaming.

Wanted to do something else than repeating single step 50+ today...

There are some glaring errors here and there but overall I'm satisfied with the flag.

Scratch built servitor with heavybolter. He seems a bit bulky but I intend to make the next one more frail to add contrast to the unit.

Scratch that earlier notion... he turned out even more mecha...

Que in the frail one...

And the last one. Palm leaves are going to be painted as flames and I'll add some sort of smoke effect to the base.

Added mags and some cables

I'm glad to hear you like them. =)

Here is how it's done

*

White base coat

*

Steel legion drab for khaki, thin down

Castellan green for armor, thin down a little

Leadbelcher for metal parts

Bugman's glow for skin, thin down

Celestra grey for white parts, thin down

Abaddon black for boots

*

Agrax earth shade for khaki and white

Athonian camoshade for armor and metal

Reikland fleshshade for skin

*

Highlights

Tallarn sand for khaki, second highlight with karak stone trying to leave some of the earlier colours visible.

Runefang steel for metal

Edge highlight for green parts with loren forest followed by second edge highlight with straken green

For skin Cadian fleshtone, kislev flesh and finally screaming skull. Progressively less coverage trying to leave earlier colours in recesses.

Administratum grey, thinned down followed by a slight amount of white scar for white (I still can't get this)

Mechanicus standard grey for boots.

Base is painted with mournfang brown, dry brushed with steel legion drab and then second dry brush with screaming skull.

Add some static grass and finish off the edge with mournfangbrown.

*edit*

Did this one during my morning coffee, was about to take last sip while finishing the base but the cup was empty! :/ Need to speed up the process slightly.

I know these might look better if I painted the eyes but I tried that earlier and the result were between comical and horrible...

*I fixed the white dot after taking the pic...*

*note to self*

That line on right hand looks bad, alter stroke angle...
