I love ponies but the only crossover between them and Warhammer 40,000 that should be allowed is space marines coming to Equestria and murdering everything that moves and most things that don't. No equine survivors permitted.

 

That plaguebearer looks prettier than Discord, too. Not that it's difficult to outdo his ugly mug. :tongue.:

haven't done any progress on the plaguebearers, but Deathstorm arrived, and that new Bases are monsters o.O

Damn I haven't even noticed the bigger bases. Seems right, with space marines being 8ft tall and all to take up more space! Also gives more room to model the base, which is cool. But I'm not rebasing my entire army...

 

Looking forward to what you're going to do with the deathstorm models!! :tu:

i'll rebase my DG power armours and the AL librarian, not sure what i'll do on my Ultramarines though ...

i want to do some Siege of Terra/Scouring Era Blood Angels, 'cause i want to use their plastic kits alongside some FW parts, but they are shelfed atm (i need more time >.>)

Oh god. I am so envious of you, I hate you a little... (I've been wanting the chaos version ever since I finished my warhound last ETL) but I also love you, because you will hopefully bring us along on the wonderful magic carpet ride of the process of building and painting that bad boy now. I'm curious how big those things are. I don't think I've ever seen one in comparison next to 30k infantry.

 

Have you decided on a legion/manifold for it yet?

Call of Chaos VII: Nurgle Plague Bearers

 

Plaguebearers are the footsoldiers of Nurgle's daemonic legions. These loathsome creatures are crafted from the blighted souls of mortals who have been slain by the virulent plague known as Nurgle's Rot. These Lesser Daemons of the Lord of Decay are shambling, pustulent creatures. Plaguebearers have gangling, bony limbs, their bodies swollen with decay, so much so that glistening innards are exposed through rents in their skin. They possess a single, cyclopean eye and a single horn rising above their haggard, drawn faces, their bodies covered in filth and parasites. Despite the Plaguebearer's unusual appearance, they are supernaturally resilient to harm, the gifts of their master having inured them to all pain. Plaguebearers are constantly surrounded by clouds of droning flies and chant monotonous hymns, their gait a staggering lope. Their sonorous voices attempt to keep count of the number of noxious plagues unleashed by Nurgle; an impossible task, for the Grandfather of Plagues constantly invents new strains of viruses. They also serve as the "Tallymen of Nurgle," eternally bound to record all of their Dark God’s pestilential creations. Many believe that Plaguebearers are in fact created by such diseases, incubating within plague victims and feeding upon their dying energies, only to later fully emerge from their heaped bodies.

I agree with Chaeron. It's only four months until the ETL, so you ca use that time to build it and convert it to chaos (including the base, which potentially can be a lot of work too) and spray it. This'll make you take the time and do justice to the model, while leaving time for other projects. Then, on the first of May, got to town on it and score 1500 points in one model for the ETL Chaos Strategium. 

 

On the other hand, if you're building it as an Imperial Lapdog variant, I say just do it now. ;)

I am incredibly jealous Atia!I love the Reaver Titan so much but I'm scared at the prospect of putting one together :laugh.:

Keep it for the ETL :wink: By that I mean prep and spray and then go to town on it for the ETL - think of the points!

Don't do it for Chaos or the Imperium Strategiums, do it for the Horus Heresy!

Atia has a REAVER! O my :ohmy.:

 

Listen to Slipstreams Atia... you have to play that beastie for the Heresy ETL :smile.:

 

Of course, I can't blame you if you can't wait that long - just be sure to let us know when it is progressing over in the Causal Challenge!

:thanks: @all .... preparing him and doing him for the Heresy ETL sounds great =), so i'll have some time to do my monthly March of the Legions and Casual Challange vows.

Well, he's a traitor Titan, but at the start of the Heresy, so not really much chaos-like (besides some eyes of horus :P). But his interior may get some early Dark Mechanicum traits :devil:
