Candleshoes Posted August 7, 2014 Share Posted August 7, 2014 I'm perhaps 100 pages in. Loving the interplay between Sapphon and Asmodai, the massive character differences. My favorite bits so far are the threats made by Asmodai against Sapphon, an inkling that in the Inner Circle, members can potentially gang up on and expel a ranked superior from their position, and not even the Supreme Grand Master can ultimately stop it. This one bit adds SO MUCH to the circles within circles, and the story potential of this bit is great. No one is safe and the wolves watch for weakness.
