That is one pretty looking tank. A minor criticism is that you haven't drilled out the exhaust stacks, but that's a tiny detail. Will we be seeing any sisters to accompany it?

I like it, looks like it's been through a campaign or two bringing death to the Emperor's enemies! It's a good kit bash and I like how the lenses and script came out :)

It looks sweet, and much more suited to an artillery tank than the original.

 

That said, I just love the flavourful design of the original Organ Pipes design. It also made it quite hilarious to imagine the organ going between that baseball organ theme to the final Bowser boss theme from SM64 depending on what D6 result you got and how much of a showoff the organist was.

 

Go on, tell me that that last song doesn't fill you with the image of Exorcist missiles raining down and destroying your everything.

This model looks fantastic ! I love it. I wouldn't use it as Exorcist personnally since the organ missile launcher is my favorite model of GW, but this is very cool.

A few pictures of my Seraphim and Celestine

 

I like simple colour schemes and I can paint them pretty fast, but they still look great on the battlefield

 

Sprayed with silver primer, robe/guns (red) pouches (brown) and hair painted then all washed in black

 

Faces Bugmans then washed with a highlight added after sometimes a 3rd highlight if needed

 

Highlight on robes and guns

 

Gold for the crosses and shoulder/knee/body icons etc.

 

Silver drybrush highlight on armour / back packs

 

White dry brush highlight on hair

 

I use a fine pen to add some darkness to the eyes

The metallic works really well with the red and bases, simple doesn't necessarily mean worse for it :) An efficient and thought out painting scheme and method is always nice, I do something a bit similar for my DE models and it makes life a lot easier yet still yields good results. Of course, only really viable on models with lots of nice detail and not many can claim to match the standard of Sister models. Do you have any more models to post up?

Heh! Reminds me of some game-store battles I had to moderate back in the day. A lot of kids showing up hadn't even gotten to the "spray it Chaos Black" stage. I saw an awful lot of grey Orks, grey Eldar, and grey Khorne Berzerkers...

This kitbash looks great - I wouldn't have thought of merging the Whirlwind missile pods with the Immolator's gunnery seat!

Cheers guys I'm an economical painter err ok lazy!! I tend to prime base with a main army colour, I do like army painter sprays for this

 

Do like how their silver once washed looked, and once its varnished really pulls it together and evens out the paint job nicely

I think all your missing is another spot colour or highlight to add extra depth to model.

This was the 1st sisters figure I ever painted, some may be 4-5 years ago, but them never followed it up with an army, which is now changing

 

I had to rip off the jump pack and add the flames backpack which was done this week plus mounted on the larger base

 

My original plan was black armour, but that changed to silver, but I left it black with red hair so she stands apart from every other troop now

Wings do tend to look good on her but she is a bit dark as it stands.

 

I would sugest finish basing the rm of the base, a light white drybrush over the wings, Do the armour rails in gold and raised up detail and she will be a shining beacon for your army.
