Hail brothers!

So I wanted to post my current painted army, and units that are awaiting completion!

Here is everything I have in one shot. -the models on the shelf behind are not part of my army hah!

My squads, as you can see I try and have a mix of neophytes and initiates and sword brethren in each.

Here are close ups of the 4 vehicles I currently have completed. All of them are completely magnetized! So far, I have yet to use our crusader variant LR- the redeemer is just too effective with hoards!!

And lastly these are the only HQ models I have painted up at the moment- I love the terminator chaplain model.

I have a contemptor dread, a second storm talon, a storm raven, and a thunderfire cannon awaiting assembly and painting. What I want to ask- is what do my fellow Templars recommend I go from there? I do play quite a bit, so I am asking with that in mind. Thanks for checking my army out.

Also, here is a link to my current year-long tourney's website. Where you can follow my crusades righteous fury- indeed it is evident already who is the Superior Army.

Welcome Brother, that is a nice Crusade you have built.

Your additions are well planned, if I was building your Storm Raven and Storm Talon, I would fit some long range hard hitters, like the Twin Linked Las Cannon. From what I saw, I may have missed some but, you have a lack of heavy fire power. Your two Multi Meltas will scrap anything at mid range, but a couple of long range hitters is always useful.

That's just me of course laugh.png. You may prefer it up close and personal, nothing wrong with seeing the fear in your enemies eyes as you kill him. msn-wink.gif

Oh, I really like the dirt and mud on your Redeemer. Very nice.

Thanks! Everything is magnetized so the talon for example can have lascannons very easily, as well the land speeder can do two meltas for example- or the redeemer can be a crusader!

Aye! I'll continue to post here as my crusade grows, as it seems the others do. I wish I were better at customization with greenstuff and bits and such- but ill post more as time goes on. Again- check out the battle reports if that is your thing!

Fully magnetized! Up next will probably be another rhino and crusader squad.

Hm. Interesting. A very matte, gritty style. The red in particular is fun when you do a lot of it, like on the Techmarine. It looks like you took the original photos under a yellow light, which sort of distorts things, but if the rest is on par with the Dreadnought, you've got a good thing going.

i don't see any major flaws popping up. A crooked decal here and there, mainly. The one thing that really pops out at me is the mud on the front of the Razorback chassis. On the white part, in the recess, the mud skips over the lower part and spats directly on to the middle part. I understand that in a singular mud spray, that would happen. But considering the sheer bulk of mud on the rest of the treads, it would make more sense that some pooled in that lower part, so there would be no gap. Logic or no, it looks off. confused.gif

Even so, overall, it looks like a solid army. Some better pics would be nice, though :)

Thanks! I took the contemptor pictures under a natural light lamp, the white box probably helped too tongue.png I can for sure post more pictures using that set up- to be honest I was lazy and set up and photographed everything to be done in one go for that initial reveal. I didn't even think about the mudding like that, and now that you mention it, yeah it does look off!

Oh, I missed this the first looksie through.  The Multimelta barrels on the speeder...aside from not being drilled (something in my brain goes 'pop!' every time I see undrilled barrels, so now my head sounds like Rice Krispies) you even have a sprue tag still sticking off the end.

Very nice looking crusade you've got there. As I have a soft spot in my heart for Contemptors, yours looks especially sweet. I nice touch that I would not have thought of is the white barrels on the autocannons. It's a little thing, but it really caught my eye. Your weathering is also very well done.

Please do  continue! :)

I think I just lost it for a moment. That Contemptor is wicked. The Contemptor is my favourite model, closely followed by the Tartaros Terminators.

Seeing this one in our colors, just wicked. Fear the Templars, For we have been Crusading for longer than your tiny mind can comprehend. furious.gif
