And I also need to start working on a master in order to start molding these guys as they do take quite a bit of time before even getting the first layer of paint going. Hope to have the base layer of pouches on all 9 of these guys by end of play tonight. Those anvil industry weapons and accessories are so good hey? Im using the reflex scopes on my scions and I bought that sniper rifle too but am yet to find a use for it. HLVW Posted December 23, 2016 Author Share Posted December 23, 2016 So back again from another training ex with work, and happy to be on holidays. Which is great as it lets me get back to work on my unloved Elysians. Finally got the sculpting and conversion work done on my sniper teams, so they are ready for paint whenever I have enough finished so that it doesn't just feel like I'm back to sculpting again. Then there is the Coy command squad, they are just about ready, just need to get the back packs sculpted up then they can enter the painting que as well, I really need to get on the ball and just start casting these guys to speed things up a little. On a side note I may be changing the paint scheme for my regular jump troops, about 80% sure that its going to happen, ill post pictures of the test model later to get a vote from the barracks and see what you all have to say on the idea. Here are the sniper dets that are ready for paint.http://i.imgur.com/oviOnMo.jpg?1http://i.imgur.com/01Fv2nO.jpg?1I don't normally pin these guys but as I will be doing something different with there bases to add to the cam and concealment aspect that comes with being a sniper, it was a necessary evil. Oh right they will also be getting ghillie suits once there painted much like my sentinel.@Shamansky - I agree that the long barrel isn't really the best choice for a jump unit but a. like you said it looks awesome and I couldn't pass it up and b.
