Firepower Posted August 15, 2014 Share Posted August 15, 2014 Now if only someone had an easy peasy way to trim mold lines running down the center of those coils without killing the detail/shaving it flat. Easily one of my most hated mold line trends, although nothing beats the terrible Assault Squad arms in that regard :P For better or worse, I go with a much more complicated recipe, but this seems like a good standard for a quick n' simple approach :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Subtle Discord Posted August 15, 2014 Share Posted August 15, 2014 A #4 or #6 Grobet Half Round File comes to such a nice edge that it can file in the grooves and remove the mould lines while preserving the coils. The also works like a charm on corrugated hoses that always seems to be the bit that gets a mould line.
