Turned out I made an error when building my army list and ended up with the point cost going over the planned 3000.

Presently, the models I own (painted or otherwise) give me 3182 points worth of Angron's finest. I plan on throwing in a fast attack option to top things off at 3500.

Any suggestions?

Tat's a lot of models mate! Wow. How about a Storm Eagle or a Fire Raptor? Or if you really want Fast Attack, those jetbikes look the part and are awesome to build and paint, trust me.

I did some updating on the Eight-Legged Monstrosity for myself - mostly sculpting. Here's the most important part - the reinforced frontal claw/piston. More in my WIP.

Because he's a World Eater with a certain je ne sais quoi ;)

Seriously, though: Glad to see another ToS veteran has made it here! It's great to have you and your insane daemon engines aboard! I still think that Dreamforge Games Leviathan with the LoS bitz is a very clever kitbash!

Here's your badge, mate:

Big giant update to our roster in the first post!

Good ol K-Sci took the time to hotlink all of that business to each of our respective bits of relevant fluff, so now we have a tiny library of awesome inspiration at our fingertips.

Go say thanks everyone!

I thought about building a Storm Eagle until I read the reviews on how next to impossible the kit is to build. Is the Fire Raptor any better?

Now a Javelin and some Scimitars... That I can get behind. :D

EDIT: Why wouldn't we be allowed to post the point costs?

Fire Raptor is like an Apache where as a Eagle is similar to a hind. Well, te Raptor is better vs infantry and air too.

Basically comes down to wanting transport cap.

Also, no points is basically because we don't want trouble from GW. They would basically call it copyright infringement, make demands to have us shut down, etc. Remember Vassal? You can thank GW for taking that down, and it wasn't friendly or legally either.

Great update to the first page!

I know I get really boring, sorry Flint :( but my 40k warband is listed twice in the post heresy part: one as "Angron's Chosen" (The right one) and one as "The Merciless" (which is their previous incarnation).

Altough "The Tyrant of Numida" makes Drakon sound really cool!

No worries buddy! Fixed

So if I update my warband a little more, Flint will add me to the roster?

Well.... K-Sci will probably fix it, then PM it to me so I can copy paste it. But yep!

So guys on my mobile just trying to relax what's your thoughts on a change to my paragon deamon spear?

Sort of trying to figure out what I can do half way through the clean up ill post some damage photos in my other thread

Glad to see you already back at it! What do we want to change about the spear?

I'm not old enough a member here to know that, but thank you for pointing it out. Post has been edited - no more specific point costs.

Is this serious (I've only been an active member since January this year) so what about the ETL? That had points cost in every vow made!

Yes sir. I don't really know what the reasoning behind it is, so it could very well be what Incinerator says. However, if you look somewhere in the forum rules, there's definitely a part that says you can't list specific points costs.

A general - 'Tactical Squad: 250pts' - is one thing. But to break the points cost down by upgrades and extras is a no go. The ETL vows are fine in this instance, because you only listed a single points cost for the vow you were going to complete.

I'm still thinking about expanding my army list.

So far I have 3182 points worth of models bought and paid for. Based on all the information I gathered (remember, all it is secondhand - I have never played a single game before, 40K or 30K), it is a solid list.

Right now my World Eaters fight like panzergrenadiers - lots of firepower and as much protection as I can muster up (apothecaries for the tactical squads, armored ceramite and flare shield for the tanks). The idea is to knock the opponent off balance at the start by using my Spartan to thrust the 10 Cataphractii Terminators into their midst, use the (now freed up) Spartan and the two Sicarans for mobile suppression, and finally footslog the rest of my army into melee (my assault marines all have melta-bombs, so they can deal with vehicles as well).

So, to bring the army up to 3500 points, I have 318 points to spend on something else. According to the 30K FOC, I have 1 HQ, 1 Elite, 3 Troops, and all the FA slots still available. Choices...

1. 5 fully kitted out Red Butchers. Upside: awesome models, powerful unit. Downside: no room for a transport means they would have to footslog it to the enemy and potentially get shot to pieces before getting into melee.

2. 10 Rampagers. Upside and downside same as above.

3. 1 Javelin plus 3 Scimitars as a quick reaction force to go where needed, fast. Upside: awesome models. Downside: I really have no idea how this would work in reality.

Any ideas?

Yup its serious to the point that some sites and boards i know prohibit to even post rules even for rules questions, in their rules threads.

usually the post are like that;

" Question, can i do xxx while doing yyy?"

"Answer, check page xxx"

And the guy as no idea what he must check or why.
