DMS Posted August 14, 2014 Author Share Posted August 14, 2014 Hey all, I've been working a little more on my Belial and am especially working on a shield. That's why I want to ask your opinion. As you can see Belial allready has wings on his back, would it be a bit to much to make a shield with wings as well? and For his head I want to use some heads from Kromlech and reshape them a bit, do you guys think I should give him a hoodie or not? http://bitsofwar.com/81-thickbox_bosky/bedlam-fraternity-heads.jpg I got rid of the mohawks and stuff so it would fit. Candleshoes Posted August 14, 2014 Share Posted August 14, 2014 The wings conversion is nice, as is the pose - you really make it seem like those mace heads have a weight to them. The pauldron swap makes his armour look even more ancient and archaic. As for the extra set of wings on the shield - Dark Angels are notoriously stringent on their bling, I'd leave the wings off the shield, as it may be too much. KrautScientist Posted August 14, 2014 Share Posted August 14, 2014 Even though I've used the same trick before, I was still surprised by those Dread shinguards on Belial: That looks particularly lovely! Those Sanguinary Guard Wings are also a very inspired touch. His flail could use some tweaking, however: The chains don't really look like gravity has any effect on them, when they should be hanging straight down due to their weight. As for the heads, I'm in favour of hooded heads as well. Plus I'd like to point out that those Kromlech heads don't really seem all that DA-like to me...
