Cheers guys.

 

@disease: They are backpack vents, but the ones from the center of the backpack.

 

I'm not sure on how to base them. I was thinking of a muddy war zone type base, but am not %100.

Finished the chassis for the first Medusa. Fairly pleased with it for my first time using tape. Also did a bit of detail on the shells to denote that some are Phosphex.

This thread is a great example of choosing the right bits to get the feel of a Legion. Also Iron Warriors prove that a simple them can look awesome all you have to master is caution lines.

 

Brilliant job so far keep up the great work.

I like your subtle use of the hazard stripes. Ive always viewed iron warriors as just that, "iron". They arent Hazard warriors lol

have you used the medusa in a game yet? I like phosphex but ive never really used arty in my lists.

I've played a couple games with the artillery. I've only used the Phosphex in one game, but the Crawling Fire rule is pretty handy. Both shells seem good, it just depends on if you want to kill Armour or Infantry.
