Here's one of two... the second is almost all base coated. I'm just a glacially slow mini painter, but I thought I would show something. Undercoat white and mostly washes, some dry brushing, and very positive first time experience with Blood for the Blood God technical paint.

Enjoy.

Now up for your perusal...

I'd like to preset my Rogue Psyker Coven for my Renegades &  Heretics (R&H).  They were a fun kit bash and I'm glad I finally got a chance to get them finished, all that's missing is some static grass.  I *might* have gone a little over board with the blood... but my idea was that they were found, implanted with warp condensers and amplifiers that augmented their power so much that it twisted their bodies and caused their faces to basically fall off when tapping the Warp.

I have paper clips bent into sigils and applied liquid green stuff to them to make them seem a little more smooth in appearance.  These will serve as markers for when they becomes possessed and will fit into the base.  Once I get a chance to paint those I'll post a few shots.

Thanks Isiah! As it was going I wasn't too sure about the paint scheme, but about 75% of the way through I thought it would work and was really pleased with the results.

They look awesome dude, you should be very proud of them :) Looking forward to seeing more of your work !

Thank you! I am happy with them, mostly because I was able to learn a lot as I went. I'm trying to paint more and build less to stop my grey tide of plastic from expanding even more! ;-)

You've really done the Giant Spawn/Jibberjaw justice - you've got some great oozing sores and pustules there.

The Possession-Sigils are a neat idea, curious to see how they turn out.

Thanks Rev!

It'll be interesting for sure, I'll need to weigh the bases down a bit and greenstuff underneath to drill the hole into.  Hopefully, I don't screw the whole lot up!

More for your viewing pleasure...  I know I'm a glacially slow painter but this one turned out all right.  Finecast Chaos Sorc with magnetized heads to show a Mark when taken. Helmet for Undivided.  Super pleased with the demon face shoulder pad.

The four faces, the helmet is from the FW Sons of Horus upgrade pack and the bare heads are all from the Chaos Chariot kit.

Then the individual shots.

And finally that shoulder pad that was so much fun to paint.

Aye, excellent work on that Sorcerer. I really like the idea of magnetising the heads to represent which Chaos mark is being used. If I ever start a Chaos project, I'll mpst definitely be using that :D

That Sorcerer is magnificent.

Thank you, I think I'm finally starting get the scheme down... but that I mean process wise so it should help speed things up!

Thanks, it will definitely work for single characters.  I have a squad of 5 Chosen that I did this for, magnetized a head, but now that i think about it I should probably do a few per squad for casualties.

Nice work with the shoulder pad, liking the idea of magnetised heads too.

Thank you.

Now for the Dark Mechanicus inspired Warpsmith!  Really fun to build, sort of a pain to paint with all the nooks and crannies but I'm glad to get it done.  This was a great model to try a lot of different things with.  Oil rust wash from Mig is a godsend.  It's the first time I've used but wow, the effects are amazing and really easy to control.  Gurgle's Rot Technical Paint, it was nice for seeping and broken-down tissue, but I'm waiting for a new pot of BFtBG to get here to add some flecks of it here and there.  The red robe was easy and fast and almost makes want to go back to painting Word Bearers again... almost.

Anyways, enjoy, and thanks for looking!

I was able to get my ETL vow finished, a Herald of Tzeentch on a Disk.  Here I was thinking... "Oh great, my summer is pretty open... I can really get into the ETL this year!"... but oh no, not this year.  An opportunity came up that I simply couldn't turn down and cut into my model time drastically.  However I was able to this mini put together and painted so at least it's another finished mini.
