We can tell from the MK IV armour these aren't pre Great Crusade proto-astartes. My thoughts are possibly knights errant? Or maybe a formation gathered from those Loyalists who hail from the Traitor Legions - but we can guess from the iconography they're loyalists. To be honest I'd be intetrested to see one without that, there's a servo skull attached to the back-mounted gun that serves a 'head' role.The auxilia look pretty cool, though don't particularly see the need for them when there's still plenty of units missing from the existing books. sockwithaticket Posted September 6, 2014 Share Posted September 6, 2014 Yeah, I remember from the Uk Open Day thread that the next book is basically going to be a filler one with a focus on Mechanicum and Auxillia, but when you've still got 3(?) Primarchs and a bunch of Legion specific units from the first 3 still requiring models I'd question a) why there's a 4th book and b) why there are models being designed for it.That said, it all looks great and I'm sure FW know what they're doing better than I. They are marines which join the DW and forsake all their previous heraldry and replace it entirely with the black to hide the nature of their origin. These marines are highly rumoured to be of traitor geneseed. So I believe, this marine in question forsoke his legion, removing all previous heraldry with the mark of Imperial loyalty, and is now taking the fight back to the traitors.
