Fluffwise which warband / legion do you feel is the greatest archenemy of the Dark Angels. This can be through out the entire history of the legion. Obviously Cypher is the top bad guy but he doesn't keep a regular crew. Crimson Slaughter - the new gw posterboys of chaos Night Lords - from the heresy years Black Legion - from pandorax Red Corsairs - from pandorax Alpha Legion - when in doubt it's usually these guys anyways... The Faithless - think this was from Vraks? but also Alpha Legion guys Anybody else? Who is the number one pain in Azrael's arse? I'm putting together a paint order and want to get all these extra non-DA models painted that came with the DV boxset. Currently leaning towards Black Legion just because it's easy to paint and they are like the umbrella org for all chaos at times. I'm currently reading the Purging of Kadillus and am really enjoying it so far! However before I buy any orks I'm going to have to do something with all of these Cultists, Chosen and Helbrute from the DV set. Disciple of Caliban Sgt Posted September 11, 2014 Share Posted September 11, 2014 Honestly after reading the Crimson Slaughter know "The Big Secret of.............the Colonels Recipe" and the way they taunt the First Legion I would suspect they have probably surpassed or tied the Night Lords as most hated. I mean we chased the Cowardly bats around the galaxy for two years...........their Dad beat up our Dad etc. But as paranoid as the DA are about the secret and the Crimson Slaughter knowing it probably would make them near frothing crazy (hard to do with a stoic Dark Angel) to have them anywhere near the same space as the First legion. You have to remember that as the fiction is currently written, most of these guys outside of the inner circle would have trouble identifying a Fallen.... or any of the original heretic legions..... CS shoud never have existed is a strong statement, but nonetheless the current fiction does have Dark Angels going after these guys pretty hardcore. It makes me think that all Chaos Marines sit around the Maelstrom Bar and Grill at "happy hour" telling stories about how the stupid Dark Angels don't realize that everyone knows the big "secret" and everyone's laughing at them. It's like it's some kind of lame High School gossip. Now I did forget about the geneseed jacking. That's a different story. They can talk behind our backs all they want but when they messin' with our boys like that - there is a whole lot of hurt coming their way.
