Tundaran Knights-73 big update, tree demon, things!

Looking good, really like the mk3 marine with chainaxe. I think that's a really cool idea for the kurnoth hunter, looking forward to seeing how you paint him up. And I know that with power armor shooting a shotgun with one hand is probably no big deal but I cant help thinking "that marine better have killer wrist strength or he's gonna smash those optics in his helmet."

Belated congrats on the Armies on Parade win, the board looks great and the Knight makes for a really distinctive centre-piece. I particularly like what you did with the barding on its face-plate.

Cool to see you getting in on sime actual Loyaist action with some DW and your latest batch marines look good. Poses and kit bashing are consistently visually interesting.

Well, i think i've left y'all waiting long enough, so here's what i've got recently!

First up, i painted the Kurnoth hunters tree Daemons, counts as idek, they just look cool with the rest of my army

The idea i'm going for is that these burning husks of trees are twisted into an unnatural and vengeful life by the powerful psychic abilities of a mysterious psyker known as the FireDancer. (Who will be coming to life soon-ish) to bolster the renegade astartes' ranks.

I'm excited to show y'all the concept i have for her and how she'll be tied into the Tundaran Knights' ever growing family!

My work table as of now, working on basecoating the deathwatch and plucking away at my first brown and orange marine who holds a flag (based with zandri dust before orange) and two of the three tartaros terminators i hafta finish.

my hopes are to get all of them above, the rest of the deathwatch, and some of the newly built marines done by February. give or take. i keep getting distracted lol.

so far there are:

alot of tree men to build, and burn.

The Fire Dancer, a witch allied to the Tundaran Knights cause, and creator of the tree, daemon, things

six bikes to be suitably converted and kitbashed

two Morghast Archai to turn into familiars of some sort (and the wings for my leaping contemptor i started ages ago.)

and last and most curiously a helldrake and terrorgheist... wonder what kinda combination that would make...

My plans for christmas are to get a hold of some Skitarii and guardsmen to convert as i please and create the mortal half of the Tundaran Knights. Their allies in the Mechanicum and the men they've picked up along the way on their fight through the stars for survival. (oh and a Corvus blackstar!)
