I made a little progress on the 15 man Tactical Squad. They have an added CCW (the bayonets), and I think they will be riding in a Spartan (my first), along with the Praetor.

A Land Raider Spartan. Even with the tracks being molded on, it was still a challenging build. There was warping to deal with on the top, bottom, and the sides by the assault ramp. I spent a good bit of time with boiling water and a heat gun, still wound up pinning the crap out of it.

Thanks! I think the next legion will be White Scars using the Chogorian Brotherhood ROW. The list I'm kicking around is a Praetor and a Centurion on Jetbikes, 2 six man jetbike squads, two infantry squads in Rhinos, two Javelins , and two Sicaran Battle Tanks. I'm trying to decide which kidney to sell to pay for it all. Jetbikes are expensive!

Here is the "Test Mini" for my White Scars. I will add transfers once Forgeworld gets around to releasing some. I'm experimenting with photographing white models, I'm not real fond of the black background.

Looks great. I agree a Black background doesn't seem to suit it. Maybe try a Grey Gradient?

Grey may be a good compromise. I tried blue and white and didn't like either.
