Organising your paints

Hi all

So thought i would share my new desk setup after doing a bit of very simple DIY to sort all my paints.  Some simple 90 degree plastic strips glued to MDF worked its way into a most glorious paint organizer that fits both vallejo bottles and GW paints upside down (stops drying out and you can actually see the colour).

Anyway,  heres the pics.  Theres a bit more info on my blog for those interested.

Probably so as to see what colour he picks right away which, especially wit the older paints that have non-transparent white or black lids. I can also imagine upside-down storage makes it less work to shake the paints, as they have been turned when you take them from the drawer. Seems like a nice idea, as long as that the lids don't let you down...

Not that I have noticed.   Also I will normally give the paint a good shake anyway so kind of irrelevant which way up the pot is before I open it and the paint will be spattered everywhere on the bottle already.

Have to say after using this for a few weeks now its great.  Obviously Ima  bit of a neat freak but just being able to actually choose from my entire range on paint colours is making me a lot more adventurous when picking a pallette.

My work area has not looked that clean since the day I started painting on it.

My work area was not that clean before I set it up and started painting on it! laugh.png

Could I ask what ultrasonic cleaner that is in the corner? I want to get a decent one soon smile.png

This is the one I have. I had a cheap battery one before. This one isn't really that expensive but runs from the mains and is big enough to fit all the parts from.my airbrush in which is what I use it for.
