Secondly, regarding Grey Knights and their mastery level - The maximum effective mastery level of the unit is limited to the number of models remaining in the squad. So, assuming I've upgraded them to Mastery Level 4 and can therefore take four psychic cards - what happens to the number of psychic cards when the squad is reduced to 3 members or less. Do I keep all four powers but can only cast 3, 2 or 1? Or do I actually lose a power? I can't find where in the rules it deals with the loss of Mastery Levels. Cheers! Leonaides Posted September 18, 2014 Share Posted September 18, 2014 You can only have as many powers as your mastery level so when we played with gk's back in the day it was shuffle cards and then someone does a blind removal of a random power. Sorry, it's a little confusing for me, and I was more responding to the statement and forgot the title. I didn't even know there was a 2nd Edition Grey Knights book, which just added to my confusion. You could field one TDA unit as allies (the were under Agents of the Imperium - Dark Millenium?) and what is now called their mastery level would depend on how many points you sunk into them.
