For the wolf hood, try pressmoulding the crotch-wolf from a dreadnought. I found doing that and then leaving the back a bit thinner made it easier to bend/pose. The paws hang nicely on the shoulders too.

I have looked out the bits and shall give it a go. I managed to buy some pro-create, which I believe is fairly flexible, so hopefully I can shape it just so...

Already looking good! the bases look great.

 

I did Mine black, then dusted it with grey. I got a dark blue very watered down covered the model and then same thing with black paing. Worked pretty well

Use a dark grey and ink it down to black.

Well I started again, using panzer dark grey as the base.

 

Ready for washes. Not sure if to go with blue and black to keep it a really cool colour, which will help the wolf stand out from the base, or go with more natural brown and black colours.

I think black/brown. Keep the organic warmth of the fur. Blue is more cold/metallic.

Excellent work on the Fenrisian wolf.

Stopped working on the black wolf to get the white wolf done to the same point. Allowing me to do bits common to both at the same time :)

 

Gave the black wolf an initial wash of drakenhof in the deepest recesses before a mix of oiled earth and black wash was done across the model.

 

Both in need of final highlights and on to details

So thats me done!! There are a good few mistakes still to fix.

Like I ran out of black for doing the eyes and I missed a little decoration on Freki as it blended quite well with the fur.

 

The highlights on both stand out more than the photos would suggest also.

 

All things I can fix when I get home. Along with attaching them properly to their bases

 

When I get home I can add the missing obelisk, T-son and arm that I forgot to pack also :D
