82nd "Midnight Sirens" Ave Dominus Nox!

So I've finally gotten around to starting my Night Lords army, the 82nd "Midnight Sirens" Led by Talos Vandri "Siren of Nostramo". Called such because of their use of sound weaponry(taken from the corpses of noise marines because they obviously don't need them anymore msn-wink.gif ) and their mastery of the Bait & Hook strategy. They're kind of like the sirens in greek mythology who used music to lure sailors to their death.

So with out further ado, i give you Talos Vandri "Siren of Nostramo" Commander of the 82nd

Commander Talos Vandri "The Siren of Nostramo"

He is carrying this rather unlucky guardsmen's head

Commander Talos Vandri "The Siren of Nostramo"

and of cours Talos was kind enough to disembowel the fella

Commander Talos Vandri "The Siren of Nostramo"

C&C is welcome and appreciated

more night lord goodness to come.

I do love a good conversion.

One point is maybe some gore hanging from the bottom of the guardsman's head. Obviously this will have blood painted on but you have done some good work on the gore on the base so a small amount hanging from the head would be cool.

I look forward to seeing the model painted.

Thank you, what kind of gore do you suggest? I'm not sure what would be hanging from the head.

Very nice start! You're obviously a pretty veteran kitbasher.

Looking forward to seeing what else you come up with.

To be completely honest, this is the first time I've attempted something like this. Thank you for the compliments.

And this is a sneak peak at the Leader of the Kill Team, and his weapons of choice. Tell me what you think about his chain bayonet please.

I am still trying to work on names for the marines and if anyone would like to name one feel free to PM, i am also in the process of writing fluff for both the 82nd and my kill team. C&C is appreciated and more than welcome

Next up we have a Red Scorpions Renegade, my friend plays red scorpions so this will be fun to do, so far i only have his Narthecium done. This marine is based of the DV chosen with powerfist.

If the Talos Vandri model was your first time using greenstuff, you're an inspiration to other novices! I especially like the kill-team commander with the beefy look to him but still looking very Night Lord-ish.
