Interesting work. I don't generally think of the Thousand Sons as a 'dirty' paint scheme.  Not sure how I feel about the mottled blue really.  To me it just looks like pooled washes and streaky painting, but if you put enough of it on a model they become a style/technique rather than mistakes.

The Contemptor is woefully bare of details to fill up all that blank blue space, and his base could really have used some of those crystals or debris to break up and add character to the look of the muffin he's standing on.  Speaking of, you might want to try painting the trim of the bases a hue of brown.  It does wonders for sand themed bases.

If those are proper LED headlights, you stand atop a pillar few modelers have climbed.

Keep up the good work :tu:

vindicator is really interesting, care to share how you made it?

like the sand blasting on the models too!

The Vindicator is actually a model from PuppetsWar with some bits from the Chaos Rhino kit thrown in there to make it more chaosy. Is that what you mean by how I made it?

Those armor plate trim pieces and that havoc launcher. I recognize those. Is he selling them?

I got them online through http://thedarkworks.bigcartel.com/ if thats what you mean. I had a great experience and his bits make your CSM rhinos pop a whole lot more. Kinda bummed that its just a SM Rhino with an extra sprue. I also got the tread on the blue rhino from there. Its hard to notice on the first pass cuz everyone just assumes its SM tread.
