Death Company Drop Pod

HI,

 

So my Flesh Tearers army currently has a couple of drop pods. I kitted them out using the etched brass Flesh Tearer icons.

 

I'm now looking at adding a Death Company pod and wondered if anyone had any good advice for the icons on the doors?

I'm thinking find a good sized skull and file the back off it the use green stuff to create the saltire but wondered if there was any better ways of doing it.

The Blood Angels brass etch has some Death Company icons on there, but they aren't really big enough. The Imperial Knight transfer sheet has some large skulls that could be applied onto a Saltire or possibly the Imperial Knight skull mask could work.

Alternatively, if you're feeling creative you could "remove" the icon from the Death Company Rhino front hatch/doors...
