'Sup dudes, dipping my toes into Inquisitorial waters here.

This is the basic frame for my Inquisitor, i'll no doubt stick some 'nades, pouches and seals on the guy... But I'm wondering, how do i make him look more Inquisitor-y...?

Thanks for any and all help, im thinking maybe Hereticus for this guy. He isn't weird looking enough to be Ordo Xenos, and Ordo Malleus isn't really my bag.

I think grenades, pouches, and some purity seals will go a long way to making him a lot more Inquisitor-looking. I agree with Miko that adding an =][= sign or two would help. The etched brass =][= pack from Forgeworld would be helpful if you're like me and not very good with green stuff.

 I dunno. More bling!

Yes. He needs to be more fabulous! Tokens of his high office, trophies from strange places, artefacts of unknown provenance, incredibly illegal gear that nobody else could ever get away with openly carrying, not to mention the freshest street clobber from the most exclusive design houses in the Imperium.

And a sand-timer thingie to show that that the time has run out for the enemies of Man! Dunno where you get one or how to make one, but it would be coo- I mean - FABULOUS! ;)

In the Flagellants box.

Therein lies the answer to a whole lot of =][= bitz questions.

A nice noose too, now I think about it.

Another vote here for the Flagellants box (or at the very least their bitz).

On top of everyone else's suggestions:

He needs a book. All inquisitors have at least one book.

"Dear diary - yesterday I toasted close to 1000 Heretics at the stake and something around 500 others that may or may not have been Heretical but I toasted them anyway just to be sure. Must remember to get milk and more Exterminatus munitions on the way home"

My bits box isn't amazing when it comes to random bits of crap, lol

But i'll check! Thanks for the advice guys, keep it coming.

You need flagellant bits mate? I'm ya man, what you after? Or do you just want a lucky dip selection pack of what I have kicking around? Maybe a sexy =][= Marine shoulder pad?? Could even throw in some random Empire Wizard bits as well. Shoot me a pm and I'll sort some stuff out for ya.

Also, is he Puritan or Radical??

Books and stuff for sure. Also, simply a differing colour scheme will make him stand out as non Astartes. If he's gonna roll with your silver/blue Errants, for example, painting him in a white/red/gold scheme will make it obvious what he is.

Yes gold is pretty common colour for inquisitors who are the more "in your face" type. I think it looks great and that's why my own inquisitor goes about in good. It's kind of automatic "bling" and other than BA Sanguinary Guard no marines are that blinged out so it makes the inquisitor stand out. I also see white with gold trimmings a lot and that looks very good also.

I would suggest you try to weather his face a little bit give him some wrinkles if nothing else - although some scars and gashes would certainly not be out of line, given what he does for a living. You could even make one side of the face look more beat up than the other if you really wanted to make it look like he was in some pretty nasty fights.

Depending on how you are with green stuff...maybe remove the harness from his armor and patch the areas with g.s. this way you'll have a larger flat space for adding trophies, honor badges, purity seals and other goodies.

Also...if you have a Space Marine Command Squad box laying around, you should have access to a single power-armor sized shoulder pad with the Inquisition symbol on it (if you haven't used it yet). You can feel free to snag that for one of his shoulders. There's also a terminator shoulder guard with the Inquisitorial icon, which you could probably put on the other shoulder if you enlarged it first with some g.s.

Just some ideas.

Sure I have one of them spare, I'll have a look now
