I think even that is too much to hope for. This is just going to be a rev up to space marines where the imperial defenders are subsequently overwhelmed and need the Blood Angels to turn up and give em a good kicking. My current read is the Doom of Mymeara, and the Space Wolves are not the star of that particular show. They're doing their best, but they aren't the "real heroes." I think that the biggest problem with the Space Marines is not what GW writes - well, not entirely what GW writes - it's their fans. Just like the Imperium isn't as bad as the fans like to imagine it is, Space Marines aren't as perfect and single-minded (and two-dimensional) as their fans like to see them. For some reason. That totally evades me. Because I agree that flawed and struggling marines are more interesting than perfect and shiny marines. But then, that's obvious. I play a Blood Angels successor . Yeah, I wouldn't say all marines are perfection in armor, but most notably the Emperor's Plumbers are that way. I think the fluff writers for Blood Angels, and Dark Angels did a good job of making them have depth and a dark nature. Les-b-honest, the Dark Angels are bad dudes, who murder pretty much anyone who gets close to knowing about their traitorous past, and Blood Angels are red thirsting and all.. Though the increase in plastic kits this would mean would be salve to my hear- CENTURIONSCENTURIONSCENTURIONS ...nevermind the last part.Either way, I don't trust GW with a happy medium.
