Forté Posted December 19, 2014 Share Posted December 19, 2014 Shouldn't have run the Lord solo. Or charged something with overwatch. Weapons wise, fistyclaws (power fist & lightning claw) are good. bozo69pd Posted December 19, 2014 Share Posted December 19, 2014 Nurgle sorc on bike with force axe, ML 3 and daemonheart roll biomancy and stick him with 5 nurgle chaos spawn that way the chaos spawn are tanky wounds, fearless, and tons of attacks. You may get a cool biomancy power like iron arm, warp speed, leech, or endurance. You have a force weapon for instant kills. If you really want plague marines though then Nurgle lord with black mace or pfist + LC If you don't like Nurgle, Khorne lord with axe and unmarked spawn. For the Slaanesh lords, you can also put them on a steed instead of a bike, so they can run while joined to the spawn and move even faster. At 500 points you could run that set up with a couple of spawn then fill out the rest of your force with marines in rhinos I guess. Maybe two squads of five with a plasma gun each? Kierdale Posted December 20, 2014 Share Posted December 20, 2014 At 500 points I plan to use: Slaanesh lord on bike w/ lightning claw. 3 bikers w/ 2 melta guns and melta bombs for the champion. 2 blast masters, w/ 5 noise marines each. Lord Asvaldir Posted December 20, 2014 Share Posted December 20, 2014 Axe of blind fury lord on a bike is my personal fav, but at 500pts with the mandatory MoK, bike and sigil he's a bit pricey, and he does need a biker escort. (Bike, nurgle, Blade of the Relentless,deamonheart .)Troops5 marines (rhino, havoc launcher) 5 marines rhino, havoc launcher)Fast attack3 bikers (2 melta) What I thought of doing is take away the blade and heart, and give him the burning brand and give him 2 spawns.
