Roland Durendal Posted January 26, 2015 Share Posted January 26, 2015 So I've been reading a lot of battle reports and I had the following question, but first quick background: I have a White Scars CAD and a Soace Wolves Allied deyachment. I attach my Rune Priest on bike to a white scars bike squad. Question: does that bike squad lose hit and run? Do they also lose the bonus to their HoW and jink? I know the RP won't gain any of those latter bonuses but I was curious about the HnR part. I see a lot of people running RPs on bikes with White Scars but none of the batreps I've read talk about this or whether they attach the priest to a squad. Quixus Posted January 26, 2015 Share Posted January 26, 2015 The Rune Priest gains the benefit of hit and run as long as he is part of the unit:A unit that contains at least one model with this special rule that is locked in combat can choose to leave close combat at the end of any Assault phase.Independent characters are considered part of the unit they joined.
