So I'm going to assume having the foe smiter requires an actual storm bolter and have to rethink this. I don't have a favorite hq so much. Just guys I use depending on what I want to count as troops

I hope you're wrong, I'm painting a 'shotgun counts as foe smiter' scout sergeant for this. Surely the rule of cool applies?

Everyone will submit a character and I will take care of the rest: pit them against each other and post up the results in the form of a short story. People only need to put up a WYSIWYG picture of the model. his equipment and total points cost and a story.

Brother Chaplain, I found it hard to find a power armor arm with a storm shield kit. I wonder maybe you can allow me use a combat shield to be counted as storm shield?

The rules say WYSIWYG but in special wargear like the foesmiter I can open exceptions. Rule of cool beats all.

Combat shield can count as storm shield as well, it is a shield after all and a storm shield comes in different shapes and sizes.

Four days to go. We have eight contestants. Twelve would be ideal because with odd numbers, I will be forced to submit my own character to even out. With even but not 8 or 12 there will be a sort of a "bye" where randomnly one contestant will advance one level.  So with that in mind submit characters... It's just photo, wargear desription and a small blurb about it. No big deal. :)

Sorry for the late reply ladies and gents...

 

Name: Company master titus, 4th battle company

 

points cost: 155

 

Equipment: bolt pistol, frag/krak grenades, thunder hammer, storm shield, iron halo, artificer armour

 

Back ground info: brother titus has spent his whole career in and around the 4th company, having worked his way from scout (this being his first assignment after finishing his training) up to being promoted to the deathwing. having worked his way up through the first company he was eventually offered his own company, he felt the need to return to the 4th, to lead his former company from the front into the most hostile of combats.

 

offered his choice of equipment, he choose to retain his thunder hammer and storm shield, which he first learnt to wield during his time in the deathwing.

Thanks bud. 'Badass action hero' was what I had in mind when I made the model. I might have got a bit carried away with the lighting effects in post-production.

Anything learned from his experiences will be noted for future use with the Librarius Conclave formation.

 

Askiel

Newly appointed Librarian Askiel has entered to try and improve his psychic ability, in the belief that it can balance and temper his blade work too. 

 

If he gets to use any psychic powers at all, he would choose to roll on the Pyromancy table.
