Frater Cornelius Posted January 26, 2015 Share Posted January 26, 2015 I remember reading somewhere that FW allowed to upgrade a GK LR with a Psycannon for 40 points (replacing TLHB). Considering its 20pts to put on a relentless terminator, why would it be 40 points to put on a relentless rhino, that is arguably just as survivable as that single terminator. Fair enough a little extra for twin linked...but not double. Now 40pts for a heavy psycannon on a razorback! For another thing, if I put six to eight bolter rounds into a Terminator's face, he's likely to go down. Now, imagine a RB with TLPC and a 2+ armour save. Now that would be something I'd play.. oh wait, we already have something similar. Reclusiarch Darius Posted January 28, 2015 Share Posted January 28, 2015 Those rules are out of date guys. You need to check their FAQ section, and get a copy of the new IA2 Second Edition. In short, none of the special characters are good (shock horror I know), and you pay an absurd price to get twin psycannon Razorbacks. Oh and the Thunderhawk can replace the twin heavy bolters with psycannons too. Land Raiders are bad, we have Ravens for a reason. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
