Dono1979 Posted February 24, 2015 Share Posted February 24, 2015 My local groups Horus Heresy Campaign is about to launch this weekend, I have nearly completed all of the underlying support material except for uploading the final introductory fluff and desciptions for the zones on the Campaign map. Every second month (I alternate between a 30K and 40K Apoc campaign) I will be running an event at the local store which will represent phases in the campaign, however players aren't locked in so dont have to attend all events, but the results from each event carry over. Territories captured in previous games will start off as captured by the same faction and players who have been using Campaign Characters will continue to use them and upgrade them (unless they die!!) from one event to another. The entire campaign will be run through the AUS30K website and updated within a week or so of each event taking place; complete with photos and fluff battle reports. In addition the players who participate are free to update their own army profiles to tell the story from their perspective as well! For those not familiar with the website, go over and take a look at this thread and if it is something you might be interested in, go along to the site and have a brwose around (flick me a PM if you need any help registering or setting up pages).
